Templesprings May Holiday Club 2026
Wow... this holiday club was a blast!
A great day of sun and activities!
This year during the May/June holiday club, we had a bunch of fun hosting a cooking educational workshop, teaching the children basic cooking skills. The skills we touched upon included food safety, food hygiene, and other important skills such as filling up on fruit and veg for a healthier lifestyle, chopping skills, and even cooking safety.
What a fantastic week. Starting off the week with a sunny bank holiday monday, leading into one of our highly popular holiday clubs. We sure did have fun, starting off on Tuesday with Pancakes! Pancakes were a great start to the week. Quite a treat, right? Well, we chose pancakes to ensure that the children eat as much fruit as possible. Thankfully, the children filled their tummies with lots of fruit alongside their pancake.
Wow! The food looks delicious, right?
Wednesday was a vegetable packed day! We're proud to showcase that we used noodles as a delicious way to ensure that children eat enough vegetables! Even the picky eaters enjoyed noodles, and at Templesprings, we call that a win.
We finished the holiday club with another fantastic method for vegetable-to-tummy transport with fried rice! A similar concept to the noodles, the lesson learned was to ensure that you keep meals interesting while continuing to fill up with lots of nutritious vegetables. A great way to ensure a child's tummy is filled with vegetables is to get the pre-prepared frozen vegetables! They last a long time in the freezer, and are ready to throw into a pan for a quick meal.
One thing we can guarantee at the Templesprings Food Themed Holiday Club is that are no shortages of exciting and delicious meals!
