Hi my name is Trishika and this is a blog post detailing the movie night I went to after school.
This art event happened after school on 20th November from 3.20pm until 5pm in Brentwood Ursuline. This was a year 10 movie night to give the hard-working students a wonderful treat to show them a lovely film with art forms such as singing songs, band music and dancing. I enjoyed this because after school on Mondays I learn how to play the guitar.
At the art event which was the movie night after school, I placed my bag down on my chair next to my best friends, I got dressed to my pyjamas then placed my snack which was M&S cookies along with the other crisps, sweets and popcorn my friends brought, we left it on 1 chair. As the movie began, everybody cheered including me in excitement for the movie, I covered myself with a blanket then I watched the movie “10 things I hate about you”, this film gave me a range of emotions including happiness, emotional and surprised.
After the movie night, I cleaned up along with my friends then I went home in my pyjamas. I thought it was funny to go home in my pyjamas, because I’ve never done that before. I loved this movie because it was very interesting and entertaining but one improvement which can be made is to change the timings to earlier e.g at lunch because after school I get quite tired and want to get home as soon as possible because my travel home takes quite a bit of time. Because of this, I got home at 8pm which is quite late for me. Overall, this art event was so amazing because we got to watch a movie, the movie was quite good and so were the snacks.
