Live Lounge is a welcoming monthly event where performers of all kinds can showcase their talents in a supportive environment. Held on the first Friday of every month during school term time, it is open to children, teens, and adults who want to perform music, stand-up comedy, poetry, or any other creative act suitable for an open mic stage. This is a space to gain confidence, try new things, and connect with the local community.
Everyone is encouraged to express themselves creatively. Whether it’s playing an instrument, singing, performing a comedy set, reciting slam poetry, or trying something entirely new, each performer is supported. The environment is designed to help participants build confidence, improve stage presence, and enjoy performing without pressure.
Participating in the Live Lounge helps performers develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Parents can see their children grow and interact with others in a safe, encouraging setting. Regular participation fosters self-expression and helps performers discover new talents. For ideas on nurturing creative skills in young people, visit Arts Council England.
Templesprings Live Lounge welcomes all performers, from budding musicians to aspiring comedians and poets. Whether you want to perform or just enjoy watching, our monthly event offers a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
